DeviantArt Meet 2013 review

Hey there guys, I just felt like sharing my experience at the recent DevMeet that happened to take place close near me.

For the most part, I had a lot of fun. This was the first con-like event I've ever been to and I have to say, I can see why people enjoy going to them. So many different types of people with different ideas coming together and sharing them as well as making new friends. It really was a much needed experience since my social life has been admittedly lacking. I met some really awesome people. Needless to say, most of the people I met were younger then me But it really didn't matter since we found things to talk about and it helped me come out of my shell.

It's funny because I met 2 in particular people and and we chatted pretty much until the function was over. It was a pleasure meeting them. Overall, the whole experience was great and the turnout was pretty good too. They should definitely try it again in the future. So if there is a devmeet near you, I definitely recommend going to it, it's pretty fun.
